Chen-An Lee is a artist whose practice since 2012 integrates computer programming, digital manufacturing, and interactive systems as creative media. His work explores how digital technology expands the boundaries of perception, seeking intersections between the complex beauty of virtual environments and the physical world.
Lee has been invited to speak at major academic and professional institutions, and his works have been exhibited at Taipei Fine Arts Museum, MoCA Taipei, Hsinchu Art Museum, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, Taiwan Digital Art Center, among others.
Currently teaches at the Institute of Architecture, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, the Department of Architecture. He is the author of GH Python Computer-Aided Geometric Design, a book introducing programming for algorithmic geometric generation and creative design.
