Perfect Parts

Using forged carbon fiber cast into 14 modular curved parts, the piece forms a shell-like structure resembling a pelvis, mounted onto a slab-like mirrored stainless steel monument, symbolizing humanity’s projection of a “higher power.” When we outsource “perfection” to super-materials, and outsource the body to a vision of interchangeable parts, are we really enhancing life, or reducing it to a set of measurable performance metrics?
